Impact Coaching
Who uses impact coaching?
And what does it offer you?
Recently promoted or new managers improve their nonverbal impact in their new leadership role. Because authentic communication comes from credible body language.
Entrepreneurs appear more convincing and genuine, presenting their ideas and products with clarity, confidence, and determination.
Presenters (such as teachers, lecturers, consultants, and managers) capture their audience’s attention, increase learning effectiveness, and leave a lasting impression.
Customer advisors and sales professionals guide clients through conversations using subtle body language, strengthening customer loyalty and increasing successful deal closures.
What does impact coaching include?
At the beginning, we discuss your specific topic. Most clients are already aware of a particular communication challenge. The following issues are frequently mentioned:
My team does not really notice me – I am overlooked
My clients do not trust in my competence
In my presentations, my audience seems uninterested or bored
I would like to be more convincing, but I don’t know how
As a new manager, I am unsure how to communicate in a way that fits my role
My business partners think I am too nice in negotiations
A successful coaching process may include the following stages:
Reflection on typical communication situations
Analysis of video material from professional or private everyday life
Direct feedback on the client’s communication during the coaching sessions
Continuous application of the body language techniques learned during coaching
Consulting on how to optimize personal communication behavior
Practice sessions with role-playing and behavioral training
Outlook and preparation for future important presentations, pitches, or announcements
Transfer exercises and accountability discussion

FAQs
You only learn to swim by being in the water. Pure theory may help you understand swimming, but you still have to practice it yourself to truly master it.
It is the same with nonverbal communication: you may understand many things intellectually from a book, but only practice confronts you with the reality of communication. Conversations happen at lightning speed, and the many layers of communication require your full attention so you don’t lose the thread.
In our daily interactions with others, we rarely have the time to consciously think about nonverbal communication. As a result, we often forget what we once read in a body language book.
In coaching, however, something special happens: the client is in direct communication with the coach. Nonverbal communication is addressed immediately, optimized, and then practiced. The client is fully focused and right in the middle of nonverbal interaction.
This is why learning becomes just as effective as it is for a beginner swimmer in the water.
Body language coaching is an individual process. In the free initial consultation, your needs and the general framework are discussed; you will then receive a tailored offer. Coaching fees depend on whether you are booking as a private client or as a company.
A session usually lasts 50 minutes. If more intensive body language coaching is required due to a special situation (e.g., urgent preparation for a presentation), a session can last up to 100 minutes.
The overall duration of the coaching process also varies depending on the topic and the individual situation. Some clients need only one session; often the issue they bring is already resolved after that. The client then takes the new knowledge and skills into everyday life and continues to practice independently. If needed, clients are welcome to return later for more in-depth coaching.
Three sessions are often sufficient for a specific and clearly defined communication goal.
Six to twelve sessions over several months are usually required if the aim is a holistic transformation of your communication.
At the beginning, we meet more frequently to develop essential foundations and attitudes that will later enable you to display the right nonverbal communication automatically. After that, we refine specific nonverbal behavior patterns. For real-life integration, sessions every two to four weeks are usually sufficient.
Coaching sessions take place approximately 50% online and 50% in person. In the case of intensive coaching (half-day or full-day sessions), the coaching is conducted live, near the client’s location.
You contact me, and we get to know each other in a free, non-binding 15-minute initial consultation. After that, we schedule the first online coaching session.
Depending on the depth and scope of your topic, we clarify your concerns and define the specific communication outcomes you want to achieve.
We then work on your topic. I use short explanatory segments to introduce the relevant nonverbal concepts. Through practical, hands-on exercises, you learn or deepen new nonverbal behavior patterns. You receive immediate feedback and concrete suggestions for improvement. Finally, we define exactly how and when you will apply what you have learned, so the results of the coaching transfer effectively into everyday life.
Coaching sessions usually take place weekly, but the schedule can be adjusted to your needs.
The most important phase of the coaching is the three days afterward: new communication skills can only become stable and automatic when they are practiced in real-life communication.
When you start using your new, more effective body language in your daily environment, you will quickly notice that people react to you differently. The feedback from others will show you that your impact has changed.
After a few days of practicing in everyday situations, you will also notice how the new nonverbal patterns begin to become automatic. At that point, you will have already developed a more stable and lasting skill.
